The reconstruction of the tracks and platforms at Čachovice railway station falls within the pilot projects of using BIM in designing railway structures. This is the second construction on the Nymburk – Mladá Boleslav section.
As one of the control mechanisms, we chose to use state-of-the-art data collection methods. These included in particular imaging using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and ground-based laser scanning. Aerial photography was always carried out after the completion of the specified phases of work.
Our goal is to collect data and create 3D models of existing objects, including BIM at the level and detail required by the investor. Preparation of data for design offices – direct link to the model is solved by native formats or export to IFC format, which is used as a universal format for conversion between various software types.
